Death Valley at Night - April 23-26, 2023
Join us for the workshop everyone has been eagerly anticipating: a night photography experience in Death Valley! In April, the milky way becomes visible late at night, offering the perfect opportunity to capture stunning images. We will spend our evenings photographing the arcing milky way, practicing panorama techniques, and experimenting with light painting in the sand dunes. The comfortable temperatures in Death Valley during April make it the ideal location for night photography. One of our favorite times to visit the Tetons is in the spring, when there is still snow on the peaks and the wildflowers are in full bloom. It's a magical time in the mountains, and we love to capture the beauty of the landscape. We will photograph a range of subjects, from sweeping panoramas of the dramatic peaks to close-up shots of the vibrant wildflowers and abstract reflections in the water.
